SUGAM (Smart Universal Guided Accessible Mobility) is an indoor campus navigation system designed to help students, faculty, staff and visitors navigate easily within college campuses.

Using QR codes placed at various locations across the campus, users can simply scan and get step-by-step directions to any room, lab, office or facility all within seconds.

The system is built to be fully accessible, working seamlessly on both mobile and desktop browsers without requiring any app download.

Maitreyi College is a women's college affiliated with the University of Delhi, established in 1967. Named after the ancient Indian philosopher and scholar Maitreyi, the college is dedicated to providing quality education to women.

The college offers undergraduate programs across a wide range of disciplines including Science, Commerce, Humanities and Computer Science. It is known for its academic excellence, vibrant campus life and strong focus on holistic development.

SUGAM was piloted at Maitreyi College to help new students, visitors and staff navigate the campus with ease making it a smarter and more accessible campus.

CURE India is International India Trust (CURE India) embarked on its mission in April 2009 with a resolute objective: to eradicate disability stemming from clubfoot across India. As of December 2024, our impact has touched the lives of over 1,12,000 children, who have received free treatment through 441 dedicated weekly clubfoot clinics spanning all 29 states and 262 Districts in the country.

Our commitment extends beyond immediate treatment—more than 9000 doctors have been trained in the Ponseti Method of Clubfoot Management in 137 Medical Trainings. More than 4,24,892 Foot Abduction Braces distributed to children with Clubfoot. The prevalence of clubfoot, affecting over 150 children daily in India, underscores CURE India's crucial role in establishing and maintaining free clubfoot clinics. These clinics not only provide essential care at no cost to families but also serve as a lifeline for those who need it most.

The SUGAM project was developed under the support and guidance of CURE India, enabling undergraduate researchers to build real-world technology solutions for campus accessibility.
